The room was lovely, bright, clean and quiet. Only slight problem was stairs but overall a brilliant little guest house, food was excellent and hospitality was brilliant.

Location

It was so handy for buses. The reason for our visit was to take my sister on her birthday to see the Royal Yacht Britannia as our brother served on it and is picture of him on ship. It was well worth the visit.

The stay was good. Food was excellent and the room was clean and tidy. The hosts were friendly.

Location

The walk from the guesthouse to Princes St takes about 15-20 minutes. There are also buses leaving close by frequently. In the area there are a lot of pubs and places to eat.

The room was clean, warm and very comfortable. The owners were very pleasant and helpful and the breakfasts were excellent.

Location

Location was good for visiting both the city and other tourist attractions. Very good restaurants nearby, we had a very enjoyable family meal at La Favorita and would recommend it. Enjoyed a visit to Camera Obscura, party was age 5 to 60 and we all found it highly entertaining.

Room was beautifully furnished and the hosts were friendly. The whole building was full of beautiful old furniture and objects. It was also clean everywhere. Personally we prefer a room with private bathroom, but a few nights without it is not so bad.

Location

The location is fine. Walking distance to "everything". Perhaps the most memorable "sight" was the street performer in Roayl Mile one evening. He had a good show and he really made us laugh. I also appreciated the magnificent paintings in the Scottish National Gallery. (Free admission is a welcome exception...)
