Everything was excellent: the room was very clean and comfortable, the breakfast was rich and the owner was very kind . Very good position: only 20 min. walk from the town centre. We will highly recommend this b&b.

The hotel has a very good location, pretty surroundings and charming interior. The breakfast was delicious and varied and the staff friendly and helpful. However we would recommend some renovation and reconsideration of the 2% commission on the credit card payment.

Location

We were most fascinated by the Edinburgh Castle, the Hollyroodhouse Palace and the Portrait Gallery.

Room was large and quiet overlooking back garden. The bed was very comfortable, facilities good and hospitality excellent. Josie and Marianne (who was away when we arrived) were most helpful and friendly offering advice on buses, places to eat etc. and the breakfast was more than adequate and delicious. We did find being at the top of 2 flights of stairs a bit difficult especially with the luggage but younger travellers may not find it a problem!

Location

On Leith Walk the Jolly Roger Pub and Vittorios gave good service and value for great food and near the Royal Mile (on North bridge) Patisserie Valerie were excellent. Edinburgh Castle and the Tattoo lived up to our expectations.
