Friendly hosts, and atmosphere. good food, easy to find. Dining room a little cramped, but lounge room lovely and relaxing.
Location
Close to facilities and tourist spots. Local resturants friendly and good food.

the hosptiality from the moment we arrived our visit was was excellent the proprietors where very helpful with local knowledge; and even loked up a perosn whom my husband knew was a locla man choice at breakfast very good nothing too much trouble; the lay out of the room very comfortable and short walk to the centre of town.
Location
there where booklets and pleanty of inforamtion availabale to read and seek out for things to do. There was also internet availabale in the lounge for visitors to use and I did make use of that facility. Places of intrest easy to reach and plenty local people willing to assit you if you do get a little strayed from you route.

Big and clean room, clean bathroom. Good scottish breakfast. Very nice and friendly host. She helped us finding another b&b because we wanted to stay another day. For we couldn`t stay at her house she made several calls to find us a new accommodation and brought us there by car.
Location
We made a marvellous trip around the isle of skye. Fantastic landscape. On our last night in Portree the isle of skye pipe band had their last show on the market place. Very worth seeing it. We were lucky that we didn`t miss this.

Very good B & B. Only mild critiscm the en suite was quite tight otherwise fine.
Location
Excellent start point for a cycling tour of north skye - Flora McDonald history in the area including landing point from Outer Hebrides, Ancient village in North Skye, Dunvegan Castle and the Community Cafe at Staffen which served excellent home made food.

Very clean,comfortable,lots of nice touches provided by the owners including tea/coffee on arrival.
Breakfast and evening meals were excellent with plenty to choose from.
Excellent service and attention to detail.
Location
In a good location for visiting the area attrations, but the house is a long way from the road up a long a forest track (1.5 miles)

My room was lovely and very comfortable. I was very well looked after and was given a lot of information about Skye and how to get around. The landlady went out of her way to help me with bookings on trips of all kinds and helped to make my stay a holiday I will always remember.
Location
Portree is a lovely town and Skye is absolutely beautiful. It is quite possible to get around the island by bus and see a great deal. This was a special holiday in terms of the sea, the mountains, the wildlife, the trips I had to other islands, including Harris and Lewis and just for the wonderful helpfulness and friendliness of the people. I will be returning.

The welcome at Balloch BB was outstanding, excellent valuue for money.
The Breakfastwas outstanding with an excellent range of local produce.
Overall outstanding experience that welcomed us to the island of Skye
Location
Enjoyed visit to Portree. Well equiped with a range of leaflets/information to get the best out of the visit.
