The room was warm, comfortable and clean. Howard and Cordelia were very welcoming and attentive.

Location

I visited as part of my work so I was not able to make much use of tourist facilities. But I enjoyed the information provided by Howard about local wildlife. I also visited the wonderful Dowhill Farm Shop. But the stars of the show were the landscape and the weather.

Our room was peaceful,clean and cosy. Our host, Howard's enthuasism was wonderful and he couldn't do enough for us. We were greeted and served tea. Our dinner was outstanding - our host even provided a complimentary bottle of wine. The location was wonderful for our first night in Scotland and really set the stage for the rest of our trip. Breakfast was tasty as well. Great value for the money. I wish them well in their new adventure.

Location

We were happy that we had a GPS system to help us find the B&B as it was our first day and night in Scotland. We had been up 36 hours by the time we arrived there. We had toured Cullzean Castle (a wonderful place with great staff as well) and some of the country side before we got to the B&B. As we already had a schedule and were meeting some family members at the Isle of Skye we just set off in the morning revived and ready to go. Thanks Howard and Cordelia!!!!
