Pleasant room on ground floor with en suite, tea/coffee and TV facilities. Clean, modern, just a little bit small. Hosts excellent;very helpful and informative. They tried every way to make our stay comfortable Food very good and satisfying. Would definitely stay again.

Location

Bus stop outside on both sides of road. Buses plentiful. Really helped to be able to buy the Sight seeing bus ticket at the guest house. Good location for the city and the race track at Musselburgh and right on the A1 so we didn't have a lot of searching on minor roads. Went to Holyrood Palace whre we were loaned a wheelchair. The guides and helpers were so kind and pleasant. A great credit to Edinburgh. In fact, can't wait to come back again even if it does mean a 200 mile trip.

We can't think of any negative comment to make about Ayntree Guest house. All the room facilities were more than adequate and the cleanliness of the room was apparent on the first day,and maintained every day of our 6 day stay. Every morning it was a joy in the breakfast room with the hosts hospitality so welcoming and so genuine, and Brian was so attentive at all times to make sure that we were happy at all times. We would cetainly recommend Ayntree to all our friends in the knowledge that all would be greatly satisfied; whatever their age.Thank you,Brian & Mary for making us so welcome.

Location

The guest house is in an ideal situation in between the city and the coast, with the added attraction of a bus stop immediately in front of the house making it so convenient.

the shover was exellent, beds soft and comfortable, small brown pillows soft, breakfast with a high standard - she prepared what I wanted, a buss stop is in front of the guesthouse it was not necessary to meet housewhife very often, we spent all day in Edinburgh.

Location

Be carefull about busses. Thee same buss number(No44) is provided by different companies and the day pass is not valid for every No.44. Nobody could tell us, when will arrive the buss for which we had a ticket(First Edinburgh), because the schedule was just for No.44. It was at night, we were tired after a whole day and it was very unpleasant. We payed again to The Lothian Buss company. We visited Mary King`s Close where we had outstanding experience. It was wonderfull!!! Town is nice and Kalpna vegetarian restaurant has an excellent food.
