First class all round, very welcoming and friendly, very clean, lovely breakfast and you can catch the bus close by to take you into inverness easily. Within easy walking distance of a lovely place to eat and have a drink. HIGHLY RECOMMEND A STAY.

Whilst here we attended Black Isle Show, The Sports Fair at Moy Hall and visited Culloden Battlefield.

The Avalon is located in a residential area of Culloden Moor. It is quiet and quite new. It was very nicely decorated. In addition to our room there was a lovely sitting room with a TV and reading material available to us. Our room also had a TV and the usual coffee and tea making facilities. The breakfast room was tastefully decorated and the breakfast was cooked to order by our friendly hostess. We would definitely stay at the Avalon again.
Location
The Avalon was just a few minutes drive from the Culloden Visitors Center. The Visitors Center is very well done, with plenty of parking and execellent information about the battle. The Avalon was also close to the Culloden Inn where we were able to get our evening meal.

A nice room (ironing facilities!) and a bathroom. We enjoyed a good breakfast. Landlady very helpful.
