A large very comfortable room and although the breakfast was a little minimal this did not bother us as we do not eat large breakfasts.
Aurora is very good value for money.
Location
The coastal walking, which we are particularily interested in, was outstanding and we loved the little local museums. Lerwick museum was terrific. There was plenty of information available and Lerwick TIC was most helpful.
Our hostess in Aurora was of little use in pointing us in the right direction and was very cold and uninterested in us for much of our time there, but she was friendlier towards the end. We got the impression that she is very shy. If so, I hope she gets over it since she created a very bad initial impression. Are there short courses for hostesses to help get over this problem?
