Everything was excellent, only two things: We had to wait for more than twenty minutes outside. If I hadn't had the telephone number we were already waiting outside. The bathroom was small. Rhona was very kind with us.

The stay at Auld Reekie was very pleasant, the room was clean & tidy. Hostess Rhona is friendly, cheerful & helpful. Location is convenient with frequent buses to the town centre.

Location

I brought my son who is 13 to Edinburgh, he enjoyed every minute there, we attended the Edinburgh Military Tattoo, visited the Edinburgh Zoo, the Butterfly & Insect Centre, the Earth Dynamic & of course the Scottish Museum. There are also different kind of restaurants in Edinburgh, Thai, Chinese, French, Sea food, India, Scottish etc, should try as many as you can, they are really good & food are delicious.

Good value for money considering time of year we visited. Friendly owner. Clean, recently refurbished room. Possible to walk into city centre ( about 1/2 hour , bus stop nearby if you don't want to walk. Free on street and some front of house parking.

Location

Visiting Edinburgh for The Fringe. Too much to itemise. Queue to visit castle in the morning was so long we did not wait. Try later in the day.
