The rooms were clean and comfortable. What made our stay memorable was the friendliness of the proprieters. They were warm and welcoming. I'm not sure that we have laughed as much as we did for the 3 days we were in their company. The breakfasts and the dinners were outstanding and all were reasonably priced. We would certainly stay there again and recommend them to any of our friends.
Location
The farm is well located to get to Stirling for city experience, Aberfoyle to experience the Queen's National park (hiking, trip lining etc) and to the town od Callendar which was a nice town with shops, pubs etc. The farm also had a bike path right out it's back door which allowed for biking 26 miles or hiking to scenic destinations.

Standard of the room very good. Great hospitality including a lift into the town (before) and bringing my big rucsac to the bus stop after my days hike. Much appreciated. Memorable breakfast of porridge with honey and some liqueur then scrambled eggs with filleted salmon.
Location
Visited the Rob Roy Centre in the centre of Callander which has information for tourists and hosts events like the music being performed on the Saturday there. I climbed Ben Ledi by walking from Callander along the cycleway towards Killin then up from the car park in gale-force winds. A fine walk indeed, especially in good weather I would imagine. Noticed a wildlife park nearby from the bus from/to Stirling.Wonderful scenery looking out from the bus to Killin (observed a stag near Balquhidder).
