Our rooms were clean and beautifully decorated. Our hostess, Joy, was a delight and extremely knowledgable about Islay. She took the time to answer all of our questions and made us feel rather special. Her breakfast was excellent as well. We would recommend this B&B to anyone.
Location
We enjoyed our short stay on Islay. We have two actual highlights, the Kildalton Cross and the Historic Society. The reason for our visit to Islay was to connect with family history and that certainly was accomplished.

Great hospitality and sevice fom staff.

Wonderful loction at the harbour in Port Ellen and a short distance to the fmous destilleries.

Hospitality, friendliness and helpfulness of the owner- outstanding.
I would have liked a lock on my door. But apparently no one locks anything in Islay.
Location
The recommendation to rent a car was perfect, I saw pretty well all I wanted to, the walk around the Oa was outstanding, the country roads, farms, old churches, crosses, museum and the very helpful center for tracing your ancestors was simple great. Plus I had the best weather, which is not always the case.
