Location was good, breakfast was good, manager friendly, helpful. Only suggestion would be to update linens, hand towel in bathroom was torn, not changed in 3 days we were there. Would stay there again, clean and good location.

Location

We really enjoyed Edinburg, the castle and walking through Old town. We enjoyed the historic walk under ground and the gardens on Princes Street with the great view of the castle above.

We had a very good stay - our hosts were very kind (especially helping out with lost luggage). However, we had booked 3 rooms, and the shower didn't work at all in one of them.

The Ashgrove House has a solid athmosphere and is perfectly placed, quiet, yet close to the city centre, only 20 mins walk from Princes Street, excellent bus service with cheap daily ticket and the Airbusstop just outside the house. The rooms had all the facilities you would require and were clean and confortable, clean towels and sheets every second day. The breakfast of high standard served in a beautiful room by a lovely Polish girl. Nice and helpful staff.

Location

Our one week stay in Edinburgh was much too short, just a scratch on the surface.
