Very clean and well maintained. Good service with excellent breakfast. Very good hospitality.

Location

Very well situated to the centre of Edinburgh. Near by launderette. Close to many restaurants and attractions. Also located within walking distance of main tourist buses.

The room was clean but very dated. he breakfast first morning was fine and some people in our party had ham and cheese, so nxt morning I've ordered that breakfast, I got on a plate chese without ham, when I mentioned it, I got the ham ( cheapest value ham from tesco). One of the person ordered a boiled eggs breakfast and literally got 2 boiled eggs on the plate. Overall I though that the breakfast was very poor, the coffee I could buy better in MacDonalds. The room needs to be updates (such as a quality of the bathroom or the door locks.

Location

Great city, lots to visit,Castle, tourist bus, take a ticket for all buses and the boat trip ( absolutely lovely time). Great Topas Bar on Princess street, reasonable price, great food. No need to book close to the centre, as every owner thinks that it doesn't matter what kind of accomodation they offer they can charge whatever they want, Last time stopped at the hotel 15 min from the centre on the bus, was much happier.

The room was clean and large enough for a familly and a child. Conveniently located, it gives a good spot to visit Edimburgh. No parking available near the B&B, so it's tough with a car unless you're lucky. Breakfast was ok.

Great value for the money. It was lovely that the breakfast was included and a good range of options. Trish was super nice and was willing to book taxis and trips for you. The only thing that I could say improve on would be to have internet access available and to have a phone that works so people who aren't from the UK or europe can use because my cellular phone didn't work the entire time I was in Scotland.

Location

I was pleasantly surprised at how close it was to all the main attractions (Edinburgh Castle, Princes Street, etc). By solely looking at a map I thought I would have to figure out the local transporation system, but everything was easily reached by a short 10-15 minute walk!

The room was clean and good value for money for a family room with en suite. There was only one mug provided in the room on arrival. There was road noise which was exacerbated by poorly fitting windows. Little advice was given as to a suitable place to park on the road.

Location

The location was excellent being close enough to the castle and Princes Street to walk in.
