The Staff ( actually just one lady) was friendly. Was cold in the night, apparently they switch off the central heating at night. Though the lady kindly did keep the heating on the next day after it was brought to her notice. the breakfast was not very good and quantity little.
Location
The vist was good. did have a great time walking through the streets. The historic beauty of the castle, the cathedral, church, palace keeps on engaged. the tourist bus guides were friendly and offred great in dept into the history of the place.

Great place, friendly host and good breakfast. Especially the location is really nice - it is in walking distance of almost all of Edinburgh's top attractions.

Beautiful place! Definitely worth visiting. Went on a tour to the highlands which I would reccomend doing if you have the time - it is so amazing :)

the ladylady was very pleasant and very helpfull. the rooms were cosy and comfy. the reason for excellent and not outstanding is the breakfast times could be a little more flexible

Excellent value for money! Host is really a carm! Very friendly welcome and always there to help. Great location! Very convenient to the city centre. Bus stop just outside the door. Great room, very clean and warm.

Just a few hundred meters to the Usher Hall. Ample restaurants and shops just around the corner.

My room was warm,comfortable and clean. The bathroom was just next door and spotless. The bed was lovely to sleep in, my room was always tidied up and I always got my tean and ocffee refilled. and the heating was on when I came back in the evening. My room faced the back so I had no noise and very little light with the blinds drawn down just as I like it. Excellent value for money. I was made to feel welcome and booking brekfast in the morning for the following day meant it was cooked quickly and was always lovely and hot. I would stay there again.
Location
I was attending a conference at the conference centre in Morrison Street so that was the prime reason for staying there so it wasn't far to walk. I also spent some days before the conference just having a look around and it is very close to all the attractions. It is close for the Castle and the National Museum of Scotland and if you fancy walking to the Zoo like I did, it is on the way.

Wifi was not accessible in our room and the television was not working too. The facilities are crowded over the room and the space available is limited. The heater in the room is not working/ working limitedly (not warm enough to heat the room up at all...). Breakfast is only available at 8:30 SHARP. I went down at 8:45 for breakfast and was scolded by the owner. The food is ok, nothing really special for me to choose this accommodation again. I am really disappointed with it. *please note a £2 charge will be made for card transactions.
Location
Edinburgh is a ok place with its tourist facilities. Lots and lots of people in the main attractions. The restaurants near-by are mostly in very high standards.
