A really nice place to stay whilst attending Oban Live. Nearby and yet peace and quiet out of town, aided by an incredible taxi service!

Location

Visited Lying island. An amazing impromptu experience. Well worth the visit and a contrast to the music and atmosphere of Oban Live itself.

Needed a place before going to Mull. 3 adults and 2 children so had a double with en suite and family room. Rooms really tasteful, beds very comfortable and the family room had a separate room for the children which they thought was really cool having their own beds, television and no adults. Catherine was so accomodating and helpful. Would definitely reccomend and we will be back.

Great location, rural but with easy access to Oban. As a family of 5 we were made to feel very welcome and all enjoyed the excellent cooked breakfasts. Generous family room with double and twin room opening off it. No pets and no smoking, rooms were absolutely clean and well presented.Stayed 3 nights. Thanks to Catherine for making us feel so welcome and looking after us so well.

Location

Easy access to Oban. We visited Easdale Island, also Glen Orchy, Glencoe, Benderloch (had a great meal in cafe there),Tralee Bay, McCaig's Tower, Cruchan Power Station and Bonawe Iron works.

Beautiful rooms that had everything we needed. Our breakfast was great and our kids both tried black pudding for the first time! The service was exceptional.

We loved the fact that we were private in the Garden Suite. Nothing was too much trouble for Catherine. I had a clumsy day and spilt black tea on her white duvet cover and then spilt Guava juice on breakfast linen. Nothing was too much trouble. Facility of private breakfast was superb! Cleanliness outstanding, my husband loved his cooked breakfast and we got afternoon scones brought for our tea. Terrific hospitality!
