Room was excellent, with a sitting room of our own. Food was wonderful the fruit salad with breakfast was fresh and varied. Catherine was helpful and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Being a little out of town the place was quiet and peaceful. The best place we stayed at on our holiday

The room was exceptional with its own sitting/breakfast area. Food/facilities and presentation were excellent along with superb hospitality. A definate plus was the value for money in respect of the overall package. Oban was in easy reach and the quietness of a rural location after a hectic day was a tonic in itself. The only area which in my opinion stops this B&B from being a grade of outstanding is the car parking which would require some delicate manoeuvring when the accommodation is running to full capacity and pulling out onto a main road with a closely situated blind bend and view restricted by hedgerow. Notwithstanding this point, would we stay at the Ariogan again? The answer is emphatically YES, MOST DEFINATELY.       

Location

We had no set agenda and visited the local historic area's including Mull and Kilmartin. Visiting Oban is a must when on a break in the West of Scotland. Where urban changes to rural within a short distance and visiting the various Isles with ease is an adventure in itself. A must "see and stay" part of Scotland
