We had a room with bath and a sittingroom. We had our own entrance and didn't need to bother the owners. Our breakfast was served in our sittingroom. The bedroom was not big but was comfortable which also included a heated matress pad which was really nice. Everything was very clean and quiet.
The owner was very nice and friendly but allowed us our privacy which we appreaciated.
Location
The city of Oban was much bigger than I expected. There were many restaurants and pubs. We liked the fact that there were many locals wherever we went and everyone was nice.

Interesting accommodation. Lovely linen and towels. Great choice of breakfast.
Catherine Murphy was the hostess with the mostest! Also very friendly, and we were introduced to her new granddaughter.
Pots of tea and scones appeared when we came back from a day out.
Lots of flowers and plants around the house.
Location
We are members of the Association of Lighthouse Keepers, and were in Oban for their AGM.
We visited Fladda, Lismore, Appin, Corran and Ardnamurchan lighthouses whilst there.
Also the Hollow Mountain Power Station, St. Corran's Kirk, Inverary Jail, Glen Coe Memorial, Loch Leven, etc.

Comfortable beds (a real twin bed for our son, not a sofabed!). Clean. Very warm and welcoming host. Delicious breakfast. Just lovely. One of the very best places we stayed in Scotland.
