Standard of room was very good, we were very pleased to be able to see the harbour from our window. Staff were extremely courteous and helpful and the meals were lovely. Would definitely return.

Machrihanish - loved walking along the beach there.

ROOM WAS GOOD,GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY AND THE FOOD WAS GOOD. ALL THE STAFF WERE VERY HELPFUL AND IT WAS A PERFECT PLACE FOR A 1 NIGHT STAY IN AREA.

We both really enjoyed our stay at your hotel. The reason for Excellent rather than Outstanding was a minor irritant.We settled down to watch the royal wedding but had to leave our room as it was to be cleaned. we went downstairs to find a tv to watch but the only one was set up in the dining room,interferance was bad but better than nothing, but we had to leave there as people were coming in for lunch.it might sound petty but I was really looking forward to it. We arrived on the Thursday so I wouldn't miss the wedding traveling on the Friday.However everything else was fine and we hope to come back another time for a long weekend.The staff were very friendly and very helpful.

We didn't see very much as a lot of facilities had closed for the bank holiday weekend. we drove round a lot and envy you your beautiful scenery.

staff and room were excellent. the food was good but not great. the bar was magnificent!

Location

Campbeltown is wonderful and the Springbank distillery and the Macrihanish golf course are enough reasons to visit for a few days

This hotel is a little run down, like an awful lot of hotels around the country, but the owner, Richard, and his staff work very hard on what must be a tight budget, to make the stay a very good one. We were particularly impressed by Keith a young man (15) who had just been employed by the hotel who really worked hard to impress. The food was good and the accommodation which we used was excellent. The recently installed en-suite (4 years ago) was Solid and provided lots of hot water. This hotel is to be commended
