We spent three nights at Ardno House and could not have been more pleased with the well-appointed room, excellent breakfasts, and hospitality of our hosts.

Location

Located between Fort William and Oban, the B&B was a great place for daily explorations of the area--from Loch Ness in the north to the ferry to Mull and Iona in the south. Alan, our host, was very helpful in pointing out places to see and dine.

Where to start........ A high level of hospitality from the Youngs; high attention to detail - cosy, warm house with wonderful views; a great little sitting area for guests on the first floor with sofas, magazines and tourist information; rooms warm and spacious -very comfortable beds, great powerful shower; freshly made breakfast in a cosy little room with soothing music; but most of all the warm and welcoming nature of the hosts - nothing was too much trouble - corkscrew loaned, clothes dried out (we were soaked from a day in the hills) advice given.... they have taken B&B to a whole new level. We have already decided that this will be our "local" for exploring Glencoe.

Both Pat and Alan were very gracious hosts, the room was clean and well kept. They ensure that we got vegetarian breakfast and gave us good ideas on places to visit.

Location

Glencoe and Scotland in general is very beautiful place to visit. It is a place to relax and give your self time to do things liesurely.
