We were welcomed to the accommodation and the hosts were helpful.The room was large and comfortable but the bathroom was cold.
Breakfasts were excellent, good choice, quality and presentation of food.
Location
Edinburgh had lots of historic buildings and places of interest including the castle.
We had a good boat trip under the forth bridge to the island of Inchcolm and it's medieval abbey.

large room with extra space, very comfortable bed, ample warm blankets, great view, very tasty and filling breakfast options, excellent location for a runner and walker, very easy to walk to the major sightseeing areas and downtown. towel warmer and cozy robes were an added bonus.

loved the trails and running options at arthur's seat, salisbury crags, and the roads in that area; loved the pedestrian friendliness/walkability of edinburgh in general.

Loved the room. Large, clean bathroom. Delicious breakfast! Convenient location. Hospitality over the top. Jean is fabulous!!! She made our visit special. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to my friends.

Mon séjour fut parfait, l'accueil de Jim et Olive est chaleureuX, la chambre était spacieuse avec une belle salle de bain et une très belle vue sur "Arthur Seat", bravo pour le "breakfast", bref une maison que je recommande ...
Location
La guest house est parfaitement située, le quartier est tranquille, très bien desservie par de nombreux bus pour aller en ville ( c'est l'affaire de 10 minutes )...
Edinburgh c'est magnifique, les Ecossais sont accueillants, bienveillants...

Ard Na Said was a wonderful guest accommodation. The guest rooms are clean, comfortable and inviting. The location of Ard Na Said is only about a 15 minute leisurely walk to Edinburgh and the neighborhood is safe quiet. Our hosts were friendly and the breakfast they prepared was delicious. We would, without hesitation, stay here again.

Ard Na Said is within walking distance to downtown Edinburgh, the Royal Mile, Edinburgh Castle to name a few historic attractions.
