The hosts really made the rate be outstanding. They were warm, friendly and helpful to provide information on things to do and places to go. They really went out of their way to make our stay special. As of yet this has been our favourite B&B. The afternoon cakes were excellent as well and the room was very comfortable with plenty of space, natural light and stocked with books and dvds for rainy days. Breakfasts were excellent with cold and cooked breakfasts as your choice. Loved this place, would absolutely love to go back.

The accommodation was well situated for the local area/restaurants. the house was clean, homely and well presented. Our family room had sufficient space for a family of three, plus my 5yr olds bag of toys. It had all what was necessary for the time spent there and we all enjoyed the daily home baking. A nice touch. We would return to this accommodation again. The host were very friendly and welcoming.
Location
We were well situated to walk to numerous places within the city centre, but a car is needed to go further a field. The public transport links were good for this also.

Accommodation was excellent. Room was very spacious and spotlessly clean. Lovely hot power shower. Tea/Coffee facilities in your room. Food was lovely. Freshly cooked breakfast to your liking each morning and gorgeous home baked cakes every day presented to us after our days out. Terri and Eddie were very friendly and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Would definately recommend this accommodation. Also in a very good location, only a 5 min stroll to town centre. Excellent all round. Would definately return.

We loved Glen Affric, very beautiful - well worth a visit. Also the Black Isles we found lovely , even managed to spot the dolphins which was an added bonus for us. We also visited Aviemore and the sking resort which was lovely too, so much to see - too little time. Loved all what we saw

We stayed at a number of B&B's throughout Scotland over a two-week period, and An Grianan was by far the best. The room was large and beautifully decorated, with home-made treats to greet us each day. A full bathroom was so welcome after some closet-like ensuites of other B&B's. Breakfast was first class and our hosts were very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. This was the best value-for-money establishment that we stayed at, not just in Scotland but in a 6-week trip that included Singapore, Dubai, the UK and Canada.
