room clean but shower on the small size.dinning room cold radiator not large enough.breakfast very good.and staff very friendly.

gardens near by very good road works in glasgow are the worse i have seen in the uk.we pick the worse weekend weather wise rainand rain and snow but we be back in the summer.

The hotel was spotlessly clean and, in spite of its urban setting, extremely quiet. It has a safe off-street car park. It represented very good value for money. Breakfast was adequate, though the room in which it was served could be re-arranged with advantage, which might result in the cooked food coming to the table hot. This is the only point which leads me to class it as "excellent" rather than "outstanding", but it would not deter me from using the hotel again myself or recommending it to others.

The room was fantastic, a beautiful view in a fairly interesting yet quiet part of town. We had a bicycle path and botanical gardens as well as several restaurants nearby and there were several options to get to downtown Glasgow (metro, bus, taxi) all of which were very easy to find and affordable. The room was amazing, although it was a bit cold but we stayed during a rare cold spell (Jan 2010) so that was understandable. Breakfast was the usual Scottish, no better no worse. Parking was great, no problems despite the ice! Service very helpful, friendly and energetic!

then room allocated to us was brilliant and suited us perfectly as a family room. plenty room and nice and clean. everything we needed. Moran taing.

nice situation right beside the Botanic gardens and close to Byres Road and Great Western Road which was what we wanted.
