the people were nice but the sheets didn't smell fresh. the over cover beds weren't very clean. T.V outdated. Room at the second floor nt easy to acess because of heavy bags.

Location

The bed and breakfast was well situated within fifteen walk from the main attractions

The hostes was kind and prepared the breakfast as we wished. Room was quite big and had a separate shower, TV and service was great.

Location

Very close to downtown within walking dstance. Pubs just down the street. Bus stop also in the vicinity.

My stay at the Amaryllis was very good. I have stayed with them before and always found it satisfactory. I would most certainly stay there again.

Location

The position is excellent for theatre world and art galleries.

Room was clean - and was kept that way. Bed was comfy and warm. Service was friendly and helpful. No noise or disturbance so I slept really well. Freeview TV and Wi-Fi in the room. A choice of breakfasts and flexibility over times. What else could you reasonably want from a B&B?

Very nice house, convenient to city centre, very considerate people. The room was adequate. The only negative, for spouse and me, was the bed mattress: thin and springy. We appreciated VERY much Cathy's great breakfast/lunch for us as we caught an early departure flight.

Location

We enjoyed all our visits. Edinburgh is a lovely capital. Favorite lesser attractions: the public library, the Museum of Childhood. We are gardeners and enjoyed the Botanical Garden very much.

The room we had was on the second floor and was well-sized, though the bathroom was small. The owner of the guest house was very friendly and keen to help with any enquiries. The only downsides were that there was no parking outside of the guesthouse (though the owner arranged secure parking nearby for a £6 daily charge) and the 'window' for breakfast was very narrow. Only allowing 30 minutes! The guesthouse was also quite well located - a 15 minute walk to the city with local restaurants and amenities too.
