Excellent breakfast and the chalet was very clean although small. No shampoo etc just soap. Just felt the B&B lacked the personal touch. However, the chef was extremely pleasant when I went to pay my bill. Local information available but very much geared to walkers. Expensive, as I have stayed in far superior B&Bs for much less money.
Location
The island is so beautiful - as they say - Scotland in minature. Everywhere I visited was welcoming. Not a vast selection of good eating places. Brodick Heritage Centre was exceptionaly good.

Our room was in a row of rooms with a common verandha detached from the main house. The rooms were very small. No space for luggage. There was a gap under the door to the outside. The shower was a trickle.

Nice clean room with a spacious en suite bathroom. Charming hosts and a hearty breakfast. Only regret was that we only stayed one night.

Our room was upgraded as there was a free room with a beautiful sea view (we had originally booked to stay two nights but our plans changed). Lovely large room, very comfortable bed, good breakfast. Friendly atmosphere.

Arran is a fabulous location - it has it all: amazing wildlife, silver beaches, majestic mountains, invigorating walks and excellent local produce.

Single en-suit chalet, small but very comfortable, clean and well appointed. Staff friendly and efficient especially the manageress. Breakfast and packed lunch very tasty and plentiful. Price a little on the high side but that aside I would not have any problem staying again.

Beautiful views and location very handy for public transport to Brodick and walking in Glen Rosa and the hills.
