this b and B served us well as a stop gap to the other hebrides. The room was big enough for the 5 of us- tho' there is a wee bit of a problem with windows we think. The owners were very hospitable and accomodating and the breakfast was fine.

Location

a wee bit oursite the town but walkable.

We booked 2 rooms for 5 woman for our stay at Alltonside B and B.The rooms were ok but one shower was not working because the owner has forgot to switch on the water heater. The bathroom had a paper bath mat which disintegrated very quickly. The sealant round the shower was black and the toiletries consisted of one container of hand soap. The breakfast had little choice but was ok.

Location

We had walked the West Highland Way which we thoroughly enjoyed and had other great accmodation along the way. The 2 mile walk along the road to the West Highland Way finish was the worst part of the walk. Feet are tired by this stage and it is just a slog especially after the wonderful scenery on route

Room very basic but clean. Hospitality was friendly and helpful - asked for a hair dryer and got good service. Breakfast was tasty and plenty of it. Heating good, bathroom small.

Location

Gondola to Nevis Range worth it. Trip to Mallaig was windy road but nice to visit. Castle ruins interesting and lovely near the river. Neptunes steps very interesting.

Great location for our climb of Ben Nevis. Room was very clean and homely. Beds were very comfortable (even the bunks!). Great hospitality, very friendly and fantastic breakfast. Will be recommending it to all my friends who head up there for hiking trips.

Location

Very easy location for the start of lots of great hikes.

Rooms were clean and comfortable, and Liz was a very pleasant and helpful hostess. Breakfasts were very good, with a lovely view from the dining room, and the walk down to the excellent hotel for dinner was delightful. We were glad to be able to use the washing machine too. Very good value for money

Location

We stayed for 4 nights in Fort William - loved the steam train trip to Mallaig, and also went up the gondola to Ben Nevis range, & drove up to Fort Augustus and out to Ardnamurchan. There is so much lovely scenery and good things to do, we could have stayed longer.
