The accomodation was ideal for our large group & of an immaculate standard - kingsize beds in some rooms a bonus! Parking behind the appartments was a Godsend & Sarah was very helpful in organising this. All modern facilities you come to expect were in both 35B & 37B, & we all thought the price was very reasonable considering our location & standard of accommodation. All in all, a memorable stay & will definitely book again.

Location

Location was superb, most of the main attractions were only a short walk away. So much to do & see, its impossible to do it all in one visit. The accommodation was an ideal base due to its central location. The castle is definitely worth a visit as is the whisky experience. Rose Street is great for bars & shopping, & Treacle just up the road from Albany Street does fantastic full scottish breakfasts!

The accommodation was excellent for 3 couples with 3 king size bedrooms all very nicely furnished and decorated. Beds were very comfortable

Location

The location was very good. We were able to walk to most of the main attractions in Edinburgh and were very close to a street of good restaurants.

The apartment was clean, well equipped and had good car parking. The street was quiet and there were no problems with noise or rowdy neighbours. We were well received by the owner/representative who gave us a thorough briefing on the apartment and the local neighbourhood. I would have rated the property "outstanding" but for the fact that there was only a single bathroom/wc. Fortunately we only had 6 people there for 2 of our 10 days. There was sufficient bedding, linen, cupboard space etc for 6, but we had space problems in the mornings trying to share the bathroom.

Location

We know Edinburgh fairly well, having a son who has just graduated from the university. We chose Gayfield Street because we knew it to be handily located for all the things we wanted to do. We can thoroughly recommend the Waters of Leith (we walked from Dean Village to Leith, negotiating the flood relief work)and the Botanical Gardens, which are within walking distance of the apartment. We made an enjoyablr trip by train to North Berwick - well worth a day - and similarly made a day trip by car to ASt Andrews. Our 8 year old grand daughther also loved her walk up to Arthurs Seat, particularly as she saw the Queen on the Royal Mile on her way up. The whole family enjoyed a guided tour of the vaults under the South Bridge.

Location

Perfect location for our group, easy walking to the centre, and to the wedding we came up for. Just wish we could have stayed longer
