Fantastic service, very friendly people, wide choice of breakfasts available, the only comment we would make is that our matresses were uncomfortable!

Sofa is worn out, bed was hard and did not have a top sheet. The carpet needs cleaned badly. We ran out of toilet paper and had to get some from the hall bath. There was no one to get us any. Cleaning staff should have left a spare roll as only half roll was on the spool. Room was large and this is a good location. The breakfast was good and staff very friendly and helpful. We did not see anyone else except at breakfast. Bus stop just a few steps away. With a few updates, such as a good matress, and a good cleaning this would be an excellent place to stay. Price is reasonable.

Location

Royal Mile, Hollyrood Palace, Oueen's Botanical Garden's, and Edinburgh Castle is only a bus ride away. Get the all day bus pass. It is worth it. We rode the bus to the end of the route, then back to town. So many beautiful old buildings to see. Too much to do in such a short time we had to stay.

The standard of the rooms were good, allways kept clean and tidy,we were served a good cooked breakfast, and we found the we were able to help ourselves to a selection of cereals if required,it also had fairly large car park at the rear,the position of the guest house was only about a mile from town,there was a very good bus service one did not have to wait very long a bus,we found the Manager of the guest house very courteous and very helpful at all times. One good things for our benefit,our Daughter had entered the Moonwalk and it was only 10 minutes to the park where the Start/finish was.

Location

We found the Tourist Office very helpful and was a very modern building Edinburgh Castle really worth a visit, also the Botanical Gardens were great,
