Airds guesthouse - my room and facilities were very good, light and airy, clean and the care and attention to detail were evident. The breakfast was very good in a dining room with great views and lots of natural light. The owner of the property was very welcoming and helpful. Two criticisms-the house was not very well signposted and I felt it was a bit overpriced at £47.

The room vas nice and clean. Mrs Macleod has been very friendly and collaborative. good facilities

It was difficult to find a restaurant or a pub wich serve food after 8,30 the night we arrived with the ferry. all the rest was good.

Good sized modern room with all facilities. Excellent food. Very helpful and pleasant owner.

Barra is a beautiful island and well worth visiting.

Good quality accommodation, value for money, friendly & welcoming hostess

Location

Unique airfield on beach-keep the planes flying. Peaceful island with friendly people offering good service. Could do with more leaflet information on wild flowers, birds etc, & lectures, talks & guided walks by local experts.

The rooms were clean and modern. fantastic food and hospitality.the views were second to none.

Location

Not many tourist facilities or attractions but the beauty of the island is outstanding. lots of hills,beaches,dunes and meadows to walk among.lots of sea life from seals, dolphins to terns and eiders.and a must for runners is the once round the island 1/2 marathon,fantastic buffet afterwards.
