Very clean and comfortable with a real homely, and friendly atmosphere. Ideally located in the City, but out of the main busy area. Most welcoming place to stay.

Location

We found the location ideally placed to see our Grandaughter at the Edinburgh Univercity campus

Couldn't fault the facilities for cleanliness and extras, nice breakfast, bus-stop handy to town and eating places (especially the yummy meals at 'the Salisbury Arms') close by. My friend had a problem with the 41 steps! The Host/esses were very obliging.

The host was very kind and friendly. Our Room was spacious and had a great view on Arthurs Seat. Good Breakfast.

Location

The main attractions, like Edinburgh Castle, can be reached in a short time by bus. The bus station is a few minutes walk from Ardenair Guesthouse.

The room was very narrow, but the breakfast was lovely and Jill was extremely cordial and helpful with everything

Location

Edinburgh is a lovely place with lots of exciting sites to visit, especially during the military tattoo and the frindge, but the prices for accomodations will nearly double.

My room was a bit small but it was comfortable and adequate for 1 person for 2 nights. the lady in charge was very friendly and helpful and there were plenty of useful maps and instructions available. It was very convenient for the bus journey into Edinburgh.

Location

It wasnt far to walk to the park and to climb Arthurs Seat from which you can get a very good view of Edinburgh. There are a lot of tourist attractions in Edinburgh and they were all easy to egt to because the hotel was so close to the bus route and only a 10 minute ride into the city.

Bathroom was tight. Wifi was okay - dropped out at times. Parking was limited. Otherwise good. Close to bus routes. Close to restuarants.

Location

Reasonably close to the heart of Edinburgh.
