The entire B & B is very cozy and welcoming. The people who own it are
very nice and helpful. Dugie shared quite a bit of his knowledge of the area
and local foods with us. The breakfasts we had at Acorn House were just as
we asked them to be. Our room was nice, comfortable. The only reason I did not
say that the accommodation was outstanding is that we had been confirmed for
a twin and had to use a double the first night, after which the error was
promptly corrected. Both roooms were very nice.
Location
We visited Culloden battlefield which was very close by. Also the shopping and
places to eat are only about ten minutes walk from the Acorn. Getting to the shops
takes you over a very scenic bridge so don't forget your camera.

Inverness is a beautiful town, definitely worth a visit. We also used it as starting point for a tour to a Whiskey Distillery.

I thoroughy enjoyed my stay here, the rooms were well equipped and comfortable however at times very stuffy. The breakfast was very fulfilling and prepared to each individuals varying needs and requirements. Hospitlity was brilliant and location extremely handy and overall i had a very pleasent stay here.

Acorn Guest house in Inverness was our home for one night in Inverness. We had two rooms, each with 2 big wonderfull beds and en-suite bathrooms that even had a bathtub! The standard was truly outstanding, from the linen, to the towels (even had bathrobes for us to use!).
The house itself it decorated with a very Scottish touch, from bagpipes to terriers, but it has still the feeling of a home.
Very good parking, free internet access, a huge TV-screen in livingroom (World-cup finals) apart from good TV screens in each room.
Hot, homemade, delicious and plentyfull was the breakfast.
The hosts were very welcoming and with a much appreciated sense of (Scottish) humour.
Very good value for money.
Location
In walking distance from town center, with shopping, restaurants etc.
A perfect place to start your boating holiday with the Caley cruisers.

Clean and tidy but there was no room to put any personal items in bedroom or bathroom. Lovely hosts and great atmosphere though.
Location
Viewed the town and went to Colloden and Cawdor Castle. Both fantasic places.

The standard of our room was very good as it was quite a large room with plenty of storage space. Breakfast was lovely. I didn't have full Scottish breakfast but my husband did and his plate was over-flowing. Also liked the "Menu" cards that were left for you to complete the night before for your breakfast because if you didn't want full Scottish you could pick various items from that card. You also had your choice of cereals, fruit, fruit juice etc. Hospitality was excellent. Mr. Cameron dropped myself and my husband at the train station in the morning of our departure.
Location
We had lovely walk on the Ness Walk which took us to a beautiful park called Whin Park. If you have children well worth a visit to it.

The friendlyness of the hosts. Also the very thoughfullness of all the little extras in the room. Everything had been thought of. The breakfast was excellant and was always served with a cheery smile. Our dog was made most welcome and when I was in the car park Dougie came out with a sausage for him. The car parking was handy, as was the very short walk into town. On our last morning Dougie shook hands with everybody in the diningroom and wished us all a safe journey. Fiona also was most helping when I asked her about a few tourist attractions. Liked all the tartan decor as well.
Location
I had worked in Craig Dunain Hospital many years ago and wanted to re-visit it. Just seeing Inverness again brought back a lot of happy memories for me. Urquhart castle and Culloden were very interesting.
