Everywhere spic and span. Everything needed was provided. Excellent en-suite facilities.

Location

We only stayed 2 nights so we really only had one full day to look around and it was a torriential downpour all day. Location in relation to views and quietness - excellent. Castle nearby - excellent.

The accommodation was of the best standard, beautifully decorated and all new. The only tiny downside was that the bathroom, although right next door, was not en-suite. The hosts were extremely friendly and the breakfast excellent. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. Very good value for money.

Location

Dunvegan Castle excellent, Kilts rock and the fairy hills.

We use B & B accommodation extensively in the UK and the USA, in preference to hotels, and I must say that Achalochan House rates with the best we have stayed. Kenny and Karen were very helpful and laid back which made our stay with them very stressfree. My only criticism would be trying to stop Kenny giving us so much to eat for breakfast.

Location

We don't do historic attractions, etc. so I can't comment. We go the Scotland for the outdoors and the walking, which was great, if a bit damp!

Everything was lovely and the hosts - Karan and Kenny - very informative, helpful and friendly. Wonderful Isle of Skye hospitality. We were even able to do a load of washing which we very much appreciated. Excellent breakfast. We would definitely recommend this B and B.

Location

The Isle of Skye is magic - we just loved it all.But we needed longer than the 2 days we had there.
