Double en-suite room was comfortable and clean, nice shower. Was a bit noisy from about 6.30am when the staff were busy. Good value for money, breakfast was ok-plenty to eat.

The television in the bar was constantly on the sports channel and it certainly kept me away!
The breakfast were excellent and the staff very friendly.
Location
I only stayed at the hotel because it was close to family. I have visited Edinburgh more times than I can remember.

good room plent of space but kitchen ajacent started at 6.30 am but not a great problem

Good bus route into town and the £2.50 ticket covered all bus routes all day. Tour bus with live guide made the day. The Castle and the tour round Brittania was also great

We were too close to the bar. The rest was good. The man who checked us in was very accomodating and the cook was good to us as well. We felt the value of the room was acceptable for the Edinburgh area, but too high for the rest of Scotland. The food was good, and the cook was willing to cook anything we wanted.

All was very comfortable, lean, nothing was too much trouble..........staff were very friendly. Food excllent, presentation superb , good value for money too. Will stay again.
