The standard of room was very good although there was a faulty table lamp next to the bed and there was another lamp with a bulb missing. The hospitality was very good as were the facilities. The only drawback was the time we were required to have breakfast which we thought was a little too early and inflexible, being 7.30 to 8.30. Another hour would have been more suitable!
Location
The location was a little way out from the city centre although this was compensated by the excellent bus service which we used very regularly. The attractions in Edinburgh were very good although quite pricey! All in all, a very nice break though.

Size of room and quality of accommodation superb. Great value for money.Bus outside guesthouse into Edinburgh City Centre ideal.I have 4 star Guesthouse at Culloden Moor Inverness and will certainly be recommending my guests to stay at Aron Lodge when in Edinburgh.

Very clean and warm with good furnishing and excellent en-suite facilities. Very good value for money and situated in a position with bus stops adjacent, the frequent journey into town being about 12 minutes.Good secure off road parking. Comprehensive evening meals at good prices and breakfast offering good choice of buffet or cooked full to choice. The proprietors were extremely pleasant and helpful in all matters and our party of 4 adults would recommend Aaron Lodge to all without hesitation. My first choice for a repeat visit to Edinburgh. Thank you to Dot & Ted.

Large room, large and well facilitated bathroom. Facilities outstanding, room very clean.
Location
Edinburgh Zoo - very large with wide range of animals, facilities and attractions outstanding. Great day out for all ages.
Edinburgh botanics shopping centre large variety of shops, very good retail outlet.

Rooms are of a high standard, hospitality, facilities, and, food, were all excellent.
Location
The Lodge was in easy distance of Edinburgh City Centre, with the Royla Mile, Princess St, etc, only a short bus journay away. The bus service was regular, with a bus stop directly outside the lodge.

We were greeted with a very warm welcome,and our room was to a very high standard. The food was excellent and all fresh daily. Compliments to the chef. The hosts Dot and Ted (father)could not have done anymore than they did to make our stay as enjoyable as it was. Have recommended Aron Lodge to family and friends.

Ideal location for visiting Edinburgh Castle,especially going to see the Edinburgh Tattoo.

The room was of a very high standard, beautifully co-ordinated throughout. The bathroom too was of a very high standard and the power shower was fantastic.
Location
Easy access to the city by bus (bus stop rignt outside. Parking facilities was a big bonus as lots of hotels we looked at did not have this facility.
