Lovely rooms and very big bed! good breakfast, the evening meal we had was a bit bland. Staff very friendly and although just outside of the City centre the bus stopped right outside the door and was very frequent.All in all very good and would not hesitate to go back again.

Having it been our first time in Edinburgh, the hospitality was excellent. Everyone was so helpful and easy going.The evening meal was outstanding and, being a chef myself, the food was 5 star.

Location

The weather made it fantastic (it was sunny) and the walk into town was long but pleasurable. It was amazing to look at the historic houses and the castle was the highlight of our visit.

standard of the room was excellent, staff were very helpful, although our friends sink in bathroom did not have a plug and was reported was not rectified. Also would have liked to have had tea and coffee maker in room otherwise we all were very happy.

Absolutely beautiful, the room was tastefully decorated, comfortable and very clean. The shower was so lovely. Ted and Dot really know how to make folk welcome. Been to many B&B's but that outshone them by far. The breakfast was very good too. Most impressed with the honesty bar. Thank you for making our stay. asking ourselves when can we go back?

room was excellent with a huge bed.However it lacked a comfortable chair to watch tv. Shower room was good but as towelrail was not on, the towels did not dry well enough. There were sachets of showergel and shampoo when we arrived but these were not replaced on our 2nd day.Food was fine.

Location

Bus stop right outside and day ticket @£2.55 was great value.Royal Yacht well worth visiting and easy to get to on bus as was zoo.

Spacious rooms with big plasma tv and modern shower room, good breakfast and very hospitable and helpful hosts. Good value for money. Thanks to Ted and Dot.

Owner very friendly and helpful. The room was well furnished and comfortable. Big bedroom and also walk in shower and new plasma TV.

Location

Good bus service to the centre- 12mins by bus, running every 5 minutes.
