We booked two rooms one double which was clean and comfortable, one twin which was rather disorganized: it had a double bed and a small camp bed and all the wardrobes and drawers were full of the owners clothes so there was no where to unpack. The two shower rooms couldn't be used at the same time because one wouldn't work if the other was on!The food was plentiful and ok. They didn't take credit cards so that was inconvenient. The hosts were friendly and welcoming.

Very nice accomodation. Clean and well stocked with thoughtful items for travellers. Food was very good and the owners were friendly and helpful. Little difficult to spot the house number 5A and as there was no B&B sign we initially went to the neighbours house, who very kindly directed us next door.

Location

Good location with easy access to Stirling Castle (3.5 km by car). We highly recommend that anyone driving in the UK have sat nav in their rental car. We literally could not have found our way around the country without it.

Room and bathroom were neat and tidy, if a bit dated, our hosts made us feel very welcome.

Location

The local brewery was fantastic and the Thai restaurant brilliant!

We enjoyed our stay and the hospitality of the hosts was excellent. They were full of information about the local attractions and provided delicious breakfasts each morning. The only improvement would be to declutter the cupboards of the extra bedding. We stayed for quite a few nights and were unable to hang up any of our clothes.

Location

Places worth visiting included Stirling Castle, Argyle House and the Loch Lomond area.

The room was aesthetically furnished with all modern facilities and things one could possibly need. The breakfast was attentively prepared and served with warmth. The menu was excellent.

Location

Not only was the information available, Liz and Alex took personal care and help us plan our days. Whenever they could they offered us a ride in their car. What made it special was their warmth and care.
