Situated amidst some of the most beautiful countryside on Scotland's West Coast, this historic shooting lodge is now owned by the Appleyard family and offers three bed and breafast rooms within the main house. The house stands in a fascinating parts of Scotland, remote and wild, yet just over two hours from Glasgow. Prices: £45 per person/night
Furnished to a high standard, the rooms are all en suite and each has a TV and DVD player, with a sofa and tea and freshly ground coffee-making facilities. All rooms have the finest cotton linen bedding and mattress enhancers for a comfortable night's sleep. There is also an upstairs twin children's room available, in close proximity to the main B&B rooms.

A first class full Scottish breakfast is served and is guaranteed to set you up for the day! A lighter breakfast of fruit, yoghurt or cereal is also available. By arrangement, gourmet evening dinners can be served in Kirnan's cosy dining room.

A house has been on this site since the 13th Century, and in the mid 1850's Kirnan was rebuilt again on the lines of the old Campbell shooting lodge, originally for the Dukes of Argyll.
The Kilmartin Glen and Kilmichael Glassary, in which the house stands, together hold the highest concentration of Neolithic monuments in the world.
