Situated within 300 acres of farmland and lying only four miles from the ferry terminal at Port Askaig, our elegant guest house enjoys magnificent views from its elevated position over the Islay countryside, providing five star accommodation in a warm and friendly atmosphere.The bedrooms and public rooms are luxurious, with a fine quality of furniture, decor, fabrics and superb colour co-ordination. Our three well appointed bedrooms all have full en suite facilities of bath, shower, w.c. and wash basin. Thoughtful touches include brightly lit mirrors, convenient shaving sockets, plenty of shelf space, steaming hot water, thick soft towels and shining ceramic tiles. Each has a tea and coffee making tray with home-made biscuits, ironing facilities, shoe cleaning box, hairdryer and a fridge with fresh milk and ice compartment. A new luxury suite is available this year, and carries a supplement of £15 per person.

The Pink room is a spacious ground floor double room furnished with handsome antique French furniture and a king size bed, with its own French windows that lead out onto a small sheltered garden. The Apricot Room is a first floor room furnished with tasteful Victorian antiques and an extra large pocket -sprung double bed. The Yellow Room is a bright and sunny ground floor room decorated in country chintz fabric with the option of twin beds or super-king size double bed with access to the garden.

Breakfast is included whilst a quality dinner menu is available at cost of £32 per person on Tuesday and Thursday nights, utilising fine traditional Scottish produce. Meals include roast gigot of Colonsay lamb spiked with rosemary and finished with a bramble sauce or local scallops poached in white wine and cream.
Our three bedrooms all enjoy excellent front views of woodland, hill and glen.
