Campbeltown is a market town formed around a sea water loch, providing a natural and safe harbour with beautiful beaches on the other side. Springbank Distillery has daily tours and whisky tasting, whilst golfers have a great choice of courses within a few miles distance. The award winning championship course at Machrihanish is a true delight.
There are many secluded beaches or forestry trails to ramble.
Sailing and boat trips are available from Campbeltown Harbour.
