Located on the banks of the Caledonian Canal, our self catering cottage overlooks the Beauly Firth with views over the Black Isle and to the mountains beyond. Canalside Cottage is set on the western edge of Inverness, only 1.5 miles from the city centre, and provides an excellent base for your stay in the capital of the Scottish Highlands.

Sleeping up to 6 persons, this recently refurbished cottage offers modern conveniences whilst retaining the charm of a comfortable old cottage. The ground floor has two public rooms, one of which has French doors opening on to patio. The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped and has a washing machine and a dish-washer. The main lounge has a TV and a dining table.

There is also a double bedroom and a shower room with WC on the ground floor. The upper floor has a further double bedroom, a twin/double bedroom and a bathroom.
Off-street parking. Full linen and towels are provided. The cottage has central heating and is equipped with Broadband internet access.
Inverness provides access to the rugged Cairngorms, the gentle glens of Affric and the Spey, the mystery of Loch Ness and the intrigue of Cawdor Castle. Outdoor activities include walking, climbing, fishing, biking, boating, ski-ing (2 centres within one hour's drive), golf (28 courses within one hour's drive), curling and swimming. Inverness itself has a wide range of shops, restaurants and bars.
