Set in tranquil surroundings and offering panoramic views over the countryside, House on the Falls is a newly built modern family croft in an excellent location for walking, fishing, horse riding - yet only a 10 minute drive to Portree town centre, the capital of Skye. With many award winning and specialty seafood restaurants, Portree also has a variety of shops for holiday souvenir shopping. We have two beautifully appointed double en-suite rooms, each with tea/coffee making facilities, clock radio, hairdryer and complimentary toiletries. We have a large comfortable guest lounge with an open log fire complete with Satellite TV, DVD player (should you want to bring your favorite films) and stereo for your easy listening.

Breakfast with us is a relaxed affair, served in the dining room overlooking the countryside. Take your pick from a selection of cereals, fruit juices and beverages, before moving on to your main breakfast dish. Full Scottish Breakfast is our specialty, although an extensive menu is of course available. Please let Donna know if you have any special dietary requirements.
In the interests of providing the most pleasant accommodation to our guests, we are totally non-smoking throughout the property. Early booking is advisable to save from disappointment.

Directions From Portree, take the Uig / Dunvegan road for approximately 4 miles. Turn left at the A850 road junction towards Dunvegan. Take the first road on the left signposted: PEINESS for approximately 1 mile and House on the falls (Tigh nan Eas) can be found on the right just after the cattle grid.
