Located on the edge of town in a scenic postion, our modern and detached guest house is a 15 minute walk from the centre of Portree, where a variety of amenities can be found, including a swimming pool, supermarket, library, gift shop. bakery, bars and restaurants. Portree is the capital of Skye and provides an excellent base from which to tour this Misty Isle. Prices available on request
The accommodation comprises of 6 letting bedrooms with 3 rooms on the ground floor and 3 rooms upstairs on the first floor. All of the rooms have en-suite facilities. Each comfortable room is attractively furnished with TV, hairdryer, fridge and tea/coffee making facilities.

Breakfast is served in our dining room with a full Scottish or continental meal provided. Vegetarians can also be catered for. The lounge and conservatory are both attractively furnished and command oustanding views over Portree bay to the Old man of Storr and Raasay.
We have a large garden and patio area for guests to relax and enjoy the scenery. Children over 10 years are welcome.
Greenacres is open all year round.

World famous for its scenery, Skye has the Cuillin Hills which are a haven for climbers and hillwalkers. Sailing, fishing, diving and watersking are also available on the island, whilst two horse riding centres are located near Portree. There are two golf courses only 15 minutes drive from Portree and Aros Heritage Centre, with its restaurant, cinema, forest walk and auditorium, is less than a 5 minute walk away.
