Glencloy is a stunning century-old farmhouse with immense character and charm. Situated in a peaceful glen just outside Brodick, it is set within large formal gardens and a paddock. It also acts as a home to a host of wildlife and our not so wild free range chickens. There are splendid views of the Glen, the rolling hills and the mountains down to the sea, making it an idyllic base for exploring Arran. All of our rooms have an individual character in keeping with this type of house and are comfortably furnished with quality crisp bedding and freshly laundered towels. Each room has TV/video and a well stocked complimentary tray. Packed lunches, ironing facilities, washing/drying and hair dryers are all available. We also have cycle storage and drying facilities for wet suits or diving gear.

Make use of our comfortably furnished elegant drawing room overlooking the garden. It has TV, DVD, radio, books, games and a piano for your use. Guests have access to video library. You will be able to enjoy your breakfast while watching the many wild birds enjoy theirs; we have visiting red squirrels too.
Glencloy is totally non-smoking throughout the house and grounds. An early continental style breakfast is available by arrangement. Collection/ taxis can also be arranged for our guests.

Food is of great importance and whenever possible we will use local food products. Our chickens provide us with delicious fresh eggs each day. Breakfast is a relaxed affair and is usually served by Neil, wearing his kilt and always a smile. We include an extensive range of Arran honey, marmalades and jams.
