The name "Garth" is derived from the Gaelic word garadh meaning "warming." This is reflected not only in the physical comforts and friendly charm of the Hotel but also in the cheerful, courteous and caring service that welcomes every guest. All eighteen recently refurbished bedrooms, 2 singles and 16 double/twins are tastefully decorated and individually furnished with en-suite facilities, colour television, direct-dial telephone, hair drier and a hospitality tray. They also have stunning views across beautiful countryside or over the Victorian elegance of the town. A Drying Room and Golf Club Store are available for guests use. Our cellar has been selected to offer a wide variety of wines from around the world to suit every palate. Many of these are available by the glass. After your meal, may we suggest that you relax with one of our fine malt whiskies - a wide selection from the familiar to the very rare is always available.

Fine hospitality is a keynote. Excellent bar meals are served throughout the day, complemented by a fine selection of draught and bottled beers, wines, spirits and, of course, a superb range of Malts - for this is the start of the famous Malt Whisky Trail! The Hotel restaurant is noted for its imaginative Dinner Menus which feature the abundance of fresh local produce from river, loch and hill and the renowned farming lands of Moray - Scotland's Larder.
