Set in an acre of gardens, this semi-detached two-storey cottage adjoins an attractive lochside house and has panoramic views across the Gareloch to the hills beyond. There is a private entrance and the small hall leads to a large open-plan kitchen/living-room with views over the garden to the loch. Perfect self catering accommodation for couples, the cottage is also close to Loch Lomond and is only 40 minutes from Glasgow Airport. Week-long bookings only (3/4 night short breaks available in winter from £165 - £220). Prices from: £255- £425 per week

Upstairs, the double-bedded room has panoramic views of the Gareloch and has an antique four-piece suite, a hairdryer, radio/clock/alarm, and TV.
The bedroom adjoins the refurbished bathroom which has an over-bath electric shower, constant hot water, shaver point, towels, and a selection of toiletries. A cot is available. We provide all bed linen, towels and tea-towels.

Downstairs, the living area has a maple dining table and chairs, a double sofa bed, easy chair, and a feature-fireplace. There is Freeview TV, DVD player with a selection of DVDs, CD-player, a good choice of books and toys, plus lots of tourist information.
The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, hob, extractor, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, washing machine/dryer, toaster, food mixer and ironing facilities.
Gas central heating.
Outside there is a patio with table and chairs, a large garden, and ample off-road car parking space.
We are a no smoking establishment.
Dogs welcome (sorry, one only). The rates are inclusive of gas central-heating, electricity, all bedlinen and towels.

Garemount Lodge is an ideal base for exploring – we're on the Clyde Sea Lochs Trail, a mile from the village of Rhu (with pub, two hotels, post office and shop).
Helensburgh is 4 miles away and has two railway stations (south to Glasgow, north on the picturesque West Highland Line), and boasts many independent shops. There is Charles Rennie Mackintosh's The Hill House, various restaurants, golf, tennis, bowling, putting, a swimming pool, fitness centre, and a variety of pleasant walks.
