Garalapin House is a warm and welcoming bed and breakfast in the small crofting township of Woodend, near Portree, isle of Skye. Surrounded by beautiful scenery and an abundance of wildlife, as well as home to our chickens and ducks. Situated in a relaxing and peaceful location, we are only a 5 minute drive from the pubs and restaurants in Portree. Prices from: £27 per person/night
We offer two newly equipped and furnished rooms; a Family Room (2 adults, 2 children)
with Private Bathroom
and a Double
En-suite. Our two rooms come equipped with flat screen TV with Freeview, DVD player, Free Wi-Fi internet, hospitality tray with locally produced treats, guest books, literature, maps and DVDs, radio alarm clock, hair dryer & complimentary toiletries.

The Double En-suite is a modern style with shower facilities and the Family Room has their own bathroom with full size bath and Aqualiza shower. We are a child friendly B&B and to ensure all members of the family have an enjoyable stay we provide a high chair, children's cutlery/tableware, DVDs, toys, books and a large play area (pictured below, left).
Cooked breakfast, including free range eggs freshly laid by our hens, or for something different, a duck egg. Also available are Omelettes, a Continental Breakfast Platter and Fruit Selection. Plus cereals, home-made bread and jams.
Being so central on the island makes it easy for guests to access the island's main attractions from Portree Harbour Boat Trips to Dunvegan Castle. The nearby Skeabost Country Hotel can offer you a 9 hole, 18 tee golf course and the close-by River Snizort is a favoured and popular river for wild sea trout and salmon fishing.
We are an 'angler friendly' B&B and can offer an earlier breakfast time and for a small charge, provide a packed lunch. Prices from: £27 per person/night
