Located in the north-west of Skye, approximately one hour's drive from the Skye Bridge,
Foxwood stands in 4 acres of land and is surrounded by mountains and moorland, the sea, islands and green fields. The house has a magnificent view of the Cuillin mountain range to the south, and of Loch Bracadale and MacLeod's Tables to the north-west. This area has a unique stillness with unbelievable sunsets and sunrises. Prices: £30 per person/night
Foxwood has 3 en suite bedrooms. The twin bedroom and the double/ family bedroom have their own entrance lobby with drink and snack facilities, as well as beautiful views over Loch Bracadale and MacLeod's Tables.
There is a further suite comprising a beautiful double room with mountain views, an adjoining single room, and large bathroom, this is suitable for either a couple, 3 persons, or when 2 persons prefer to have separate rooms. All 3 rooms have TV, CD/ cassette/ radio and hairdryer.

Spacious lounge with a selection of books and room for dancing, music, story-telling or yoga. There is a magnificent view of the mountains from the main windows which overlook the partially enclosed patio and pond (see above, left). The very wide choice at breakfast is based as far as possible on organic, fairtrade, and vegetarian food. Other meals are available by arrangement, whilst special dietary needs can be catered for with prior notice.
For those wanting a healthy break, we have a sauna, whirlpool bath and steam cabinet with 15 power jets. Close to Foxwood B&B are the remains of a chambered cairn, a souterrain and the best preserved broch on Skye.

The nearest restaurants are the Ullinish Lodge Hotel (10 minutes walk from Foxwood) and the restaurant in Struan (5 minutes drive). Dunvegan is a 12 minute drive and Portree is 25 minutes away, both with a wide choice of eating places. 'The Three Chimneys' is only 20 minutes from here. Outdoor activities include horse riding, climbing, bird watching, fossil collecting, canoeing and sightseeing by land or sea. There is a variety ofwildlife, flowers and beautiful walks in the immediate area.
