Situated in a quiet residential area, our guest house is only a 3 minute walk from the Pulpit Hill viewpoint that overlooks Oban Bay and the surrounding islands. Upgraded to a very high standard, Don Muir offers comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation along with genuine highland hospitality. Prices from: £30 - £40 per person/night
We have 3 double ensuite rooms. All rooms are equipped with TV, hairdryer, hospitality tray, heating and many extras to make your stay most enjoyable. We serve a traditional Scottish breakfast in our small but interesting dining room.

We have parking for up to 4 cars and a large public free car park at the viewpoint for those with bigger vehicles.
Oban sits on a small sheltered bay with the Islands of Kerrera just off the coast and the hills of Mull visible further in the distance.
Above the town sits McCaigs Tower, a Colloseum like structure built 100 years ago offering superb panoramic views of the town and the Islands.
For a good start to your day, a short walk to the viewpoint will provide views of Oban Bay and the surrounding islands which are breathtaking.
