Providing a haven of comfort and tranquillity right in the heart of Islay, this self catering house sleeps 6 - 8 persons and is only one mile from Bridgend, being set back from the road on the shore of Lochindaal. The beach is yards away from the front gate with no road in between. You can sit in the garden and enjoy the wonderful views, wander along the beach, or explore the rest of Islay. Prices from: £500 per week
Built in the early 1900s the house has been fully renovated, to make it warm, comfortable and spacious. Life in the house is centred round the open-plan living, dining and kitchen area. There are comfortable couches aa large, farm-house dining table and an open fire with a supply of logs. The house is equipped with 2 TVs, a video, DVD player, 2 hi-fi's and a selection of video tapes, dvd's, books and games.

Upstairs is the family sized bedroom with a kingsize bed, a futon and a cot. There is a double bedroom downstairs, an additional twin room with views across the loch and an attic room with comfortable double futon and a wide-screen TV. The main bathroom has a traditional roll-top bath and there is a shower-room & w.c. adjoining the upstairs bedroom. There is also a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier.
The well equipped kitchen has gas cooker, microwave oven, large fridge freezer and cooking utensils, oils and spices. Off-road parking for several vehicles. Linen, towels, toiletries and cleaning products provided.

The walled garden provides a safe area for the little ones to play in and there is a play house where children are free to explore. When you arrive, our house-keeper will be there to greet you and to show you around. All guests are supplied with a welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk, sugar, bread, biscuits and cooking essentials. All heating, lighting and cooking gas is provided and there are logs for the open fire. Dogs are welcome with a small surcharge. No smoking please.
