Situated in the countryside yet only 10 minutes drive from the beautiful City of Dumfries, Cowans Farm Guest House offers total peace and tranquilly to its visitors amid panoramic views of what is a truly unspoilt location.

The guesthouse is wonderfully situated in a natural sheltered landscape. A large comfortable lounge with its own small licensed bar (a great place to relax, meet new friends or just dream about tomorrow!). Games, puzzles, books and CD's await our guests' use. A newly built separate breakfast / dining room overlooks our garden, bottom fishing loch and bird aviaries. Sorry, no pets.

All our rooms are in a converted barn situated at a right angle to the main house and have the following facilities: All rooms are ground level with shower ensuite, fresh towels daily, TVs, full hospitality trays, double glazed, heated, and over look the garden and fishing loch. Rooms are free to use all day as is the lounge and dining area.

Alongside our lower loch we have a newly built log cabin ( please enquire for prices ) for hire all year round. This is board-walked around our loch and is available for both self catering and B&B.
