Located 9 miles from Fort William on the shoreline of Loch Linnhe, Corran has been converted from the original lighthouse keepers' cottages into luxurious holiday accommodation. The Lodge has superb views down the loch and across to the Glencoe mountain range and north to Ben Nevis. Built in 1857 by Robert Louis Stevenson's family, it helped mark the route to the Caledonian Canal. The separate lighthouse still is in operation, without the fog horn! Prices from: £1135 per week
Sleeps up to 10 persons with five double bedrooms: four with en-suite shower, one with en-suite bath. Each room has a super kingsize bed which can be converted into twin beds upon request. Three of the bedrooms are upstairs and two downstairs. A small reading room upstairs looks out on to the Loch.
For children, a space has been converted into a play area, with bean bags, TV/DVD and games.
High chair/cot available.

The Lodge has a luxurious living room, with fabulous views down Loch Linnhe, a wood-burning stove and three comfy sofas.
There is cable TV, a CD Player and a selection of books and games. The charming country kitchen has a complete range of appliances, including a four-ring oil Aga, electric cooker, oven,
microwave,
fridge/freezer
and dishwasher.
Next door is a dining room which seats 10 comfortably.
Enclosed by a walled garden with direct access to the beach, the Lodge has a large grassy area for outdoor games, with barbecue and summer patio furniture. The large utility room includes washing, drying and storage facilities.
Provisions include towels, firewood/coal, linen
and cleaning products.
Welcome hamper includes tea, coffee, milk, bread and wine.

Loch Linnhe is a beautiful tidal sea loch on the West Coast of Scotland. The scenic backdrop to the Lodge is the dramatic West Highland hills and glens of Ardgour, providing the opportunity for many scenic walks and outdoor activities. The village of Ardgour has an excellent local pub which serves food and is only 100 metres walk from the Lodge. Fort William is the main town for the area, providing all necessary amenities.
