Situated within walking distance of Ayr rail and bus stations, our traditional Victorian house is 15 minutes from Glasgow Prestwick International Airport and is one hour from Glasgow International Airport. Chalmers is 5 minutes walk to the town centre and Ayr's lovely sandy beach where you can enjoy views of the Isle of Arran, Ailsa Craig and beyond. With close access to Scotland's most famous championship golf courses including Turnberry, Western Gailes, Glasgow Gailes, Dundonald Links, Royal Troon, Irvine Bogside and Old Prestwick, we provide convenient accommodation for golfers visiting Scotland. Chalmers provides a range of accommodation including one single, one twin, one family studio (sleeping 3 persons), one superior Double/Family/en-suite, one superior Double/en-suite, one Double with private Bathroom/Shower facilities. All rooms have TV with tea and coffee making facilities. Wireless internet access is available for our guests. Breakfast is included. Children under 3 years old are free of charge. Children from 4 to 15 years pay £15 including breakfast.

Our bed and breakfast is only minutes from the Brig O'Doon at Alloway, the birthplace of Robert Burns, and we are in a convenient location for attending a wedding at the Brig O'Doon House Hotel. If you are travelling from Ireland, Ayr is also convenient for the Troon, Stranraer and Cairnryan ferries. Ayrshire is the home of Open Golf, and championship golf courses like Turnberry and Royal Troon are only 20 - 30 minutes away. Renowned public courses such as the beautiful Belleisle are also nearby.
