This year is the 25th anniversary of The Heb3.
What is the HEB3 I hear you ask? It is the opportunity to run 3 to 5 half marathons on Isle of Lewis, Benebecula, Barra, North Uist and Skye. The event is very popular and as numbers can be limited advance planning is advised. The Barra half marathon is often over subscribed due to a limit on competitor numbers.
The series kicks off on Stornoway and concludes with the fifth and final race on Harris. This is a unique achievement and has the benefit of allowing runners to practice their craft in some of the world’s most beautiful locations. All competitors who complete at least 3 events will be presented with a commemorative running vest and prizes are award to the individual race winners.
