Standing on a croft (small farm area) in an open country area of North East Skye, the cottage has no passing traffic. This is a good location for touring the Island, visiting the Western Isles (the ferries for Tarbert in Harris and Lochmaddy in Uist leave from Uig which is approx. 20 mins drive away). There are good walking/climbing opportunities in the area. The Trotternish ridge, Quiraing and the Storr are close by. There is a nice Bay with sandy beach about 2 miles away and a rocky shoreline which is nice for walks and fossil searching. Prices from: £225 per week
Sleeps up to 4 persons. This is a traditional croft style cottage with dining kitchen, sitting room with open fire and shower room/toilet downstairs and two bedrooms upstairs. The bedrooms have sloping ceilings and Velux windows. Fuel is supplied for the open fire. There are electric convector heaters. Bed-linen and towels/dishtowels are supplied unless you state that you wish to bring your own. There is no extra charge for electricity. The cottage has a washing machine, fridge, freezer, microwave and electric cooker, TV.

Well controlled pets are accepted but must not be left in the house alone. Dogs are not to be allowed on beds for obvious reasons.
We are 50 miles from the Skye Bridge, 60 miles from the Mallaig/Armadale Ferry and also a similar distance from the Glenelg/Kylerhea Ferry. There is an Internet Café/Restaurant within 1 mile of the cottage.
The Flodigarry Hotel which serves both Dining room and Bar/Conservatory meals is 4 miles away. The Glenview Inn is 4 miles towards Portree. There are 2 local food shops and a Petrol Station close by. There are good fishing opportunities in the area, including the Storr Lochs and rock fishing. Walkers and climbers have a good opportunity to explore the Quiraing and The Storr as well as the Cuillins a short drive away.
