Situated overlooking the bay at Brother's Point in Valtos, Beinn Edra is a newly built bed and breakfast located 15 minutes north of Portree and 25 minutes south of Uig, the ferry port for the Outer Isles. The house is only minutes walking distance from fishing in the sea or from climbing up and over the Trotternish Ridge to the Quiraing, and provides a great base for a peaceful day out sightseeing in the car. The spacious Double Bedroom has a luxurious King Size bed and is equipped with tea and coffee making facilities and Sky TV. The room has its own private toilet/bathroom/shower. The Twin/ Family Bedroom has all the facilities of the Double Room and is fitted out with a double and single bed with private en suite facilities. The Double/Twin Bedroom is fitted with a super king size bed which can act either as a double or be turned into twin beds. This room has Freeview TV and is en suite.

All rooms are equipped with Wi-fi. All bath and hand towels are provided. In the morning we serve a delicious breakfast in the large kitchen diner with views overlooking Brother's Point. You can sample the delights of a full Scottish Breakfast or a lighter version for those with less hearty appetites. We try to use as much local produce as possible.
Attached to the main house is a luxurious annex for the couple who would rather have a self-catering holiday. The cottage has its own separate entry door and is completely self-contained.
The incomparable ruggedness and stunning terrain of the north end of the island will make the trip to Skye extra special. Valtos is just 12 miles north of Portree and is well known for its landscape and the glorious views over the waters with the tip of the island of Rona in view. The Old Man of Storr is 5 minutes drive with Lealt Falls on the way.
Heading in the opposite direction towards Uig, you will come upon Kilt Rock with it's amazing rock formation, with Staffin Museum and Staffin Beach further ahead.
